Buffon will backup Wocjiech Szczesny.

David Silva announced that next season will be his last at Manchester City.

Lampard is considered the favorite to become manager of Chelsea. Chelsea are ready to pay a £4 million compensation fee to Derby.

Lampard played for Chelsea for 13 seasons.

Luis Enrique has stepped down as manager of Spain for personal reasons.

Enrique left a get-together with the team before a March 26th match against Malta to return home to Barcelona.

Since then he has been unable to return to an active role with the national team and in a statement on Wednesday he said that he had decided to step down “due to the reasons which had prevented me from fulfilling my duties as normal since last March.”

Those reasons have not been clarified and the Spanish Football Federation requested that the coach’s privacy continue to be respected.

Roberto Moreno will manage Spain until Euro 2020.

Frank Lampard expressed interest in the open Chelsea role after Maurizio Sarri left the position for Juventus.

Lampard has reportedly emerged as the favorite to replace Sarri.

Chelsea would have to give Derby compensation if they were to hire Lampard.

Rabiot had been linked with a move to Barcelona on a free transfer this summer.

Tensions rose between Rabiot's camp and sporting director Antonio Henrique. Henrique left his position this summer, leading to a potential thaw in the relationship between Rabiot and PSG.
